3rd Annual Audubon Park Community Yard Sale

March 13th, 2012

Is your garage overflowing? Are your closets packed solid? Are you just plain running out of room? please join us in a Neighborhood Yard Sale on Saturday, March 31, 2012 – 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.

This will be advertised on Craigslist, as well as with emails and flyers to residents around the neighborhood and local businesses. Signs will be placed at the main entrance streets into the neighborhood. Individual residents will need to put out their own signs pointing to their streets. The whole idea of a neighborhood yard sale is to draw more people so we can sell more of our STUFF!!! If you only have a few items, you may want to join in with another neighbor. If you have any questions, you can contact Beverly using her contact information in the below attachment. Please note that Beverly will not be providing signs for your individual street. If anyone has contacts at the local businesses and can post flyers there, please let Beverly know which ones. Also attached below is a flyer you can print out for posting at local businesses.

Last year was a big success! Lets do it AGAIN!

A five (5) point system based on overall aesthetics and design will be employed. One (1) point will be deducted if if the above listed is omitted from the submission. One (1) bonus point will be awarded for local artists, i.e, a business within the District boundaries or a resident living within three (3) miles of the intersection of Corrine Dr. and East Winter Park RoadThe judging panel will determine which selected artist paints which cabinet. Median Planting – Volunteers Needed

November 16th, 2010

Saturday December 4th marks a milestone for the Audubon Park Garden District; they are replanting their first median.

This median will be beautiful and efficient due to the use of Florida native drought tolerant plants chosen by Kariena Veaudry, Executive Director of Native Florida Consulting, Inc., who graciously designed the Audubon Park Median.

APGD needs 10 volunteers from 9am to 12pm to complete this goal. Please contact Kat Quast at 407-590-8776 or kat@apgardens.com to volunteer.
